Primary Phonics Specialist - Maidstone

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated Primary Phonics Specialist to join our team in Maidstone on a long-term contract basis. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality phonics instruction to primary school students, ensuring they develop essential reading and writing skills. You will work closely with teachers and support staff to create an engaging learning environment that fosters student growth and confidence. As a specialist, you will utilize your expertise in phonics to support the curriculum for Key Stage 1 (KS1), Key Stage 2 (KS2), and the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS). Your role will involve assessing student progress, tailoring lesson plans, and providing targeted support to meet the diverse needs of learners in the classroom. Requirements

• Master's Degree in Education or a related field
• Experience in teaching phonics at the primary level
• Familiarity with KS1, KS2, and EYFS curricula
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
